Include a photo of you on your card- When you’re networking, you want people to remember who you are.
Include relevant contact information-Don’t forget to include your email address and blog URL, along with any other sites that you are active on where you’d like people to find you (LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, etc). If you’re a regular contributor on other sites, you can list that, too. I have some cards with my phone number, but not all of my business cards include that piece of information.
Make your business card design match your blog design-whether you simply use the same design elements, images, or colors, it helps when you can establish a connection between the you “in person” and the you online.
Color variety – while the entire business card doesn’t need to in color, adding a variety of colors will make your cards “pop” and stand out in the sea of cards.
Healthy supply – Order enough business cards so that you never have to hesitate to give away your card to a potential contact.
